Dr. Tris Carpenter
Dr. Carpenter received is DVM from Michigan State University in 1967. He built the Norwood Animal Hospital in 1970. That year, the hospital won a coveted prize for architectural excellence in the Veterinary Economics Magazine Hospital of the Year competition. Aside from practicing small animal medicine, Dr. Carpenter has been an active volunteer in many organized veterinary medical associations, ascending to the presidency of The American Animal Hospital Association(AAHA) in 1994-95. He also served as the President of The New England Veterinary Medical Association (NEVMA) in 2002.
Dr. Carpenter enjoys spending time with his wife Jean, their two children's families, and their two dogs. His hobbies include saltwater fly fishing, cooking and gardening.
