    Norwood Animal Hospital opened its doors in January 1970, the answer to the dream of Dr. Tristram Carpenter. The modern facility was designed around the concept of comprehensive medical and surgical care for animal patients.  The hospital contains a full laboratory and pharmacy, as well as an x-ray area and a surgery suite. We have the capability of fulfilling most diagnostic, treatment, and surgical needs.  Tufts Emergency Treatment Services on South Street in Walpole cares for our evening, weekend, and holiday emergencies (508)668-5454.

    Norwood Animal Hospital is a member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA). AAHA has contributed greatly to the improvement of animal care.  AAHA has continuing education requirements and offers comprehensive and informative meetings and seminars to all of their members.  We are proud to be part of their organization.
